Italian banks are strengthening their commitment to Ict investments, driven by the need to innovate while ensuring resilience and security. In this context, artificial intelligence is emerging as a strategic and cross-functional lever, with applications spanning operational processes, customer relations, and corporate management. Special attention is being devoted to generative Ai, which is prompting new strategies and skills, and requires solid governance. Alongside Ai, the digital transformation journey continues, aimed at improving customer experience and internal process efficiency, supported by architectural modernization, cloud computing, and automation. Data governance, cybersecurity, operational continuity, and infrastructure modernization also remain key priorities.
