FOUNDED IN 1972 BY LUIGI DE ROSA AND PETER MATHIAS

 

Founded in 1972 by Luigi De Rosa and Peter Mathias, The Journal of European Economic History publishes original papers in Economic History from the early modern to the contemporary age. 
The Journal is a peer-reviewed open-access publication and is now published by Forum Editrice Universitaria Udinese (Forum - Udine University Press). 

 

The Journal has been indexed in Scopus and has an H-index according to SCImago/Scopus metrics.
It is recognized by ANVUR as a Class A journal in the following academic fields (11 - Historical, Philosophical, Pedagogical and Psychological Sciences): 11/HIST-02 (formerly 11/A1) – Medieval History; 11/HIST-03 (formerly 11/A2) – Early Modern History; 11/HIST-04 (formerly 11/A3) – Modern and Contemporary History
